For Sale: Nikon D60 10.2MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR Nikkor Zoom Lens

$550 (negotiable)

I am selling my 8month old D60 cause I already upgraded. Bought the camera July of last year for my birthday but I barely used it (maybe 3 to 5 times). The 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR Nikkor Zoom Lens is NEW and never used (Nikon replaced a new lens cause the original lens that comes with D60 body got dropped and broken and lucky enough to have the warranty).

Comes with Nikon strap, battery, charger (all original). I am missing the software CD though and to boot, I don't have the manual and the box (purchased it from here in the USA and it was shipped to me to the Philippines and when I flew back here, I didn't bring the manual and the box with me).

If interested, you can contact me at

Little Brother's Keeper Learning Centre Moving Up Day!

Little Brother's Keeper Learning Centre will hold its 1st Commencement ceremony this coming March 27, 2010.

When I woke up this afternoon, I have 2 emails on Facebook and one was from one of special people in my life (Teacher, Ate Angie). She informed me about the graduation day and opening of the new school :) Ain't that awesome?

Funny how fast time flies and how memories drag you back. Last May of 2009, they were just talking about building a learning centre for business and they were "joking" me if I want to invest. Without being shilly-shally, without having second thoughts and with full confidence with these people, I said "Yes".. It's not even a year and we've been witnessing how God gushes His overwhelming favor and blessing to the school and every piece of it. It was and is not an easy journey for everyone who've been part of the school. Especially for the teachers and to boot, our Pastor :)

Now, I am down in the mouth cause I won't be able to witness the first graduation ceremony. I wont be there to take part of the joy. I will miss those smiles of the students while receiving theirs diplomas. Nonetheless, I am happy and I'm on my high horse to be part of this family.. Thank you, God. All the glory and honor to You!

Shutter Island Review

I haven't been doing a good job updating my blog this past few months. Shame on me! To boot, I retard on writing movie reviews which I doped out since I started doing it. Anyhow, I'd try to start inditing again as much as I could on my free time.

Okay, the first review: Shutter Island. I am not a fan of Mr. DiCaprio and in as much as, I'd start a critique.

Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a federal marshal who, with his fellow Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo) , makes their way to Shutter Island Ashecliffe Hospital to delve the escape of a notorious murderess of her own three children. Almost everyone at Boston harbor institution other than the patients seems a little off center, not to mention Teddy, who brings some of his psychic weight to the job.

While the cinematography is befittingly claustrophobic, the story-line's nimble twists are haphazardly telegraphed while Teddy's reoccurring imagery of his late wife are too many. Regardless of the fact that Teddy is the focus of the flick, Scorsese polishes too many frames off on scourged close-ups, as though he was making sure of DiCaprio's Oscar nomination :)

The concluding jiffies of Shutter Island is a whopping letdown. But I am not to judge so I won't go into details. On a positive note, Shutter Island is undoubtedly not a garden-variety flick. Shutter Island was unexpected in toto.

Random Thoughts

This is random, don't mind it. Just drafting some thoughts before I hopefully manage to turn it into an article or something. LOL. As if!

Anyways, the biggest thing I don't understand about relationships is how people can fight and argue and what have you when they claim that they have such strong feelings for each other. Personally speaking, if I have feelings for someone, I could never feel things like anger towards them from something so small as an argument or the subject thereof. I don't understand how so many arguments of the type can occur.. If you're doing something right, you're going to look past all of the small things that aren't worth the time you spend pouring over them, looking for a reason why your relationship isn't supposed to work. This particularly holds true to things that are said or actions that are performed where the intentions are innocent but are perceived by the other person in the relationship to be hostile, simply because the person is actively looking for a reason to justify their fear that things aren't going to work. They turn anything they can into evidence that would help them say "see, my fears are right". What the hell, though...

That's not why you're in a relationship, to question it.. And if you are, you should probably start rethinking it. You should be in the relationship in an interest to strengthen your bond with the other person to the greatest degree possible, (of biblical proportion if possible) usually in hopes that things will move to a more serious level someday. You should be doing anything in your power to make things be 110%, and this includes recognizing the imperfections or oversights of your significant other and excusing them when they're harmless as opposed to sticking a red flag on them and dragging everything back over something so harmless..

I'm not saying that anyone should let their guard down completely in regards to the other person's actions that would, of course, leave considerable potential for abuse with the right person. I'm saying the small arguments and petty things that escalate into the bigger things they shouldn't have become should be avoided or excused when they're observed. It's stupid to put the time and effort and doubt into it just to see it do your relationship harm when your goal in the relationship should be doing anything to strengthen that relationship that you possibly can. Otherwise, you're wasting your time, really!

As fun as that was to write, I need to go to bed again. I wasn't referring to anyone in particular in writing this, it's just a general behavior of people that I have never understood. Read More......

I Drove 7 Miles -- Yheeyy!

Yesterday, BF was home from the field for 24hours. We had to do some errands at Fort Carson and asked him if I can drive down there. At first, he was shilly-shally to say "YES", maybe he was imagining me going on the rampage and running loads of people over and that thought scared him. But I was really persistent and he had no choice but to just give what I want.

This is one of those days that I am not scared to drive so I took the chance. But there were times that even I am not nervous to drive, I still made lots of mess and we, (jowa and I) will just end up pissed with each other (all because he yelled at me while driving and I really really hate it!) That's what I told him, to not to run his mouth while I'm driving
because that makes me out of focus. HALLER!?! Is he expecting me to drive good with the fact that I do not know anything about driving? He always seems impatient everytime he teaches me how to and swear, he already made me cry because of this driving issue. It just made me laugh every time I remember my mistakes and how he yells.

Anyways, driving from our home to Ft. Carson is like 15-20minutes drive and 7miles away. Jowa gave lots of reminder after he said yes.. It was pretty good folks - I WAS GOOD Just need to control my anger on the road now and try not to hurt or blame pedestrians for my mistakes. Heehe. Also, this is the first time my partner compliment my driving, especially my "U-turning" . The only problem he said I made was I'm little scared of gas. Hehe. I run 40mph wherein speed limit is 55mph.. One car behind us blown his horn because I was driving too slow.. Hehe. Need more practice too parking the car with another car parked besides. Tout ensemble, I did good. I was happy yesterday and so is he.. Way to go! We'll try to drive from Colorado Springs to Denver next week. Good luck on the highway! Heheh.. Read More......
