Designing is Good

I got this "talent" of web designing way back when I was in my first college days. I was taking my Computer Secretarial (2000) course then and was really into computer stuffs.. But since my course was limited of computer use, I never really had a chance to enhance my "talent"... Not until I took my Electronics and Communication Eng'r course and went to one of the biggest university in the Philippines. We had unlimited use of internet and computer. And sister bought our own pc at the same time. So I took advantage of it and tried to learn about HTML, CSS and Java stuffs as much as I can.. My knowledge is wayyy tooo basic.. I am proud to say that I USED FrontPage. Hehe.. First program that I used to practice HTML codes was Microsoft FrontPage. This program helps you create and manage the exact website you want. The fonts, size, color, tables, etc.. As a newbie, I had fun when I was using it because I got what I wanted: WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). But, it is not a perfect tool for web page designing (at least for those who do it professionally).. BUT it could be of big help to combined with minor HTML knowledge can take you a long way.. The downside of it? FrontPage does not provide the design and coding flexibility that Dreamweaver currently does. And that's what I am on right now, self-tutoring again for Dreamweaver.. =)
